Baywood Greens

By Ault, Clark & Associates

There’s no secret as to why Baywood Greens, with its arboretum-like setting, is often called the “Augusta of the North.”  Located in Long Neck, Delaware, Baywood Greens is just minutes from Rehoboth Beach and the Cape May – Lewes Ferry and is a must play on your way to and from Ocean City.

Golfers can enjoy the meticulously manicured Woodside and Waterside nines that showcase eight timbered bridges and 27 acres of man-made ponds, two tunnels and more than 300,000 flowers, plants, shrubs and trees. The generously large, flat fairways, created to fit the overall terrain, will test your skill as they wind through and around created lakes, mounds, and some 70 strategically placed bunkers.

In addition to the outstanding playing grounds, the facility is home to the Baywood Clubhouse Restaurant that is open for lunch, dinner and lite fare. Slicers’ Snack Bar is open for a light breakfast and lunch.
